Patient Accounts Representative II - Patient Advocate position open at Spokane Eye Clinic. This position is responsible for participating in many aspects of the patient processing and accounts receivable functions to include billing, charge entry, pre-authorizations, refunds, payment posting, customer service, coding, and other billing functions. This position is also responsible to verify insurance information for patient financial advising by phone or face-to face. Backup support to front desk/registration and other Business Services tasks required. In addition, as a level II position is required to be a viable back up for all tasks associated with the Patient Account Representative I position within six months of hire. Other duties as assigned. Previous experience in medical billing or as a financial counselor preferred. Must have availability Monday-Friday, 8-5 plus the ability to work from any of our 3 locations in town.
