Description

Associated Industries is looking to hire a motivated, customer-focused Member Engagement Manager, Training Facilitator professional to join our team. We are located in Spokane, WA and are committed to serving our members. This position reports to the Director of Membership & Marketing. 

Compensation: $45,000-$55,000 annually, depending on experience

KEY or ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsibilities
  • Primary point of contact for all post-sales activities including, but not limited to member on-boarding, consultative guidance, member portal training, technical support, and assigned account management activities
  • Pro-actively engage members and work closely with strategic member accounts; ensuring they are trained and successfully using HR & legal services
  • Identify potential training partners who deliver valuable workforce training and facilitate the delivery of those programs to members
  • Partner with marketing to develop strategic campaigns, via appropriate marketing channels, to drive up-sell and cross-sell of current members, with the goal of driving engagement and retention
  • Collaborate with a multitude of internal teams to drive upgrades to the member experience
  • Advocate for members; leading internal teams and projects to solve members' needs
  • Gather regular member feedback, surveys and suggestions and present ideas to key stakeholders internally
  • Monitor member health, identify risk, develop retention plans, and deliver recommendations
  • Prioritize and drive timely resolution of member portal inquiries
  • Propose new ideas to continuously evolve the member experience
  • Potentially travel to meet with members on a quarterly basis, or as required
  • Works in collaboration and partnership with the HR, Legal, Benefits Administration and Sales & Marketing teams and contributes to a positive team environment

  • Fast learner who can understand and articulate service lines and value proposition
  • Knowledge of HR industry preferred

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree
  • Background in customer service, account management and/or inside-sales preferred
  • High degree of personal initiative
  • Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other applicable systems
  • Possession of a valid drivers’ license and state required insurance coverage
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Proven team player

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to:
  • Stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist
  • Lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight
  • Operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard
  • Verbal and written communication to exchange information

MENTAL  REQUIREMENTS:

Must understand general and implicit instructions and react favorably in all work situations.  Must be mentally adaptable and flexible in dealing with a variety of people.  Requires public contact and excellent interpersonal skills. 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Associated Industries is a dynamic member services organization that provides an array of service offerings to a variety of members and local businesses.  Member and business needs may result in extended days and/or the need to invest weekend hours to ensure responsiveness to member needs and business deadlines. Travel to member and vendor sites are part of this assignment. Ongoing deadlines to meet customer and business needs may generate stress.
