The Steam Plant is now recruiting for a Bar Manager who will be responsible for all bar functions including leading the beverage service team, ingredient sourcing and purchasing, preparation and maintenance of standards of excellence; safety, sanitation and cleanliness; training and supervision of bartenders in methods of mixing, presentation and service to guests.
Candidates shall possess High School education or equivalent and be of 21 years of age. Candidates must possess knowledge of both service and food and beverage, generally involving at least three years of front-of-the-house operations management positions in upscale environments (or an equivalent combination of education and related experience). Must possess a WA food handlers permit, Class 12 MAST permit, and valid Driver’s License and proof of auto insurance are required. Candidates shall possess a basic understanding of profit and loss (P&L) and restaurant cost controls (Labor, Food, and Supply).
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays. Generous compensation and benefit package. EOE
